Belinda Crawford Camiciottoli (PhD, Applied Linguistics, Universitat Jaume I, Castellon del la Plana, Spain) is Associate Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Pisa. Her research focuses on corpus-assisted analysis of discourse in academic, professional, and digital settings, with particular reference to interpersonal features. She has published in leading journals, including Journal of Pragmatics, Intercultural Pragmatics, Discourse & Communication, Text & Talk, English for Specific Purposes, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Business Communication Quarterly, and Discourse, Context & Media. She is the author of The Rhetoric in Financial Discourse: A Linguistic Analysis of ICT-mediated Disclosure Genres (Rodopi, 2013) and The Language of Business Studies Lectures. A Corpus-assisted Analysis published by John Benjamins (2007). She is the Director of CLAVIER (Corpus and Language Variation in English Research) interuniversity research centre.
